Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
FLSA Status: Full Time Exempt

The CFO oversees accounting, financial reporting, planning, treasury, tax, compliance, SEC reporting, risk management, and investor relations. Oversee cash management and bank reconciliations.
# Coordinate tax filings.
# Design and implement control policies and procedures.
# Oversee accounting operations and audits.
# Manage treasury, budgeting, taxes, real estate, and insurance.
# Review financial statements and tax returns.
# Maintain accounting systems and processes.
# Lead staff including Controller, AP/Payroll Clerk, and Grants Accountant.
# Handle payroll and benefits administration.
# Analyze operational and financial impacts of issues.
# Knowledge of Management and Accounting Information Systems and public accounting.
Strong operations background.
Analytical and financial reporting skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage projects.
Leadership, organizational, and planning skills.
Bachelor’s in accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
Minimum 5 years in senior financial roles.
Standard office environment; occasional evening and weekend work.
