Salt Lake City, UT . The
Scientist 1
would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be a full-time position, 40+ hours per week. Scientist 1 Compensation: The pay for this position is
$25 per hour .
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Scientist 1 Highlights: This position is a
contract assignment
with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
The required availability for this position is
Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM .
Scientist 1 Responsibilities: Provide technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for technology development activities for various medical device products.
Support current projects in research & development and pilot-scale manufacturing.
Focus will be on analytical chemistry work using instruments in the lab.
Execute technical and cross-functional project work.
Follow and execute on standard operating procedures (SOP) and test methods.
Coordinate and support maintenance activities of the lab as required.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business.
Scientist 1 Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science, or similar.
Experience/understanding of working in a lab.
Lab work experience is a strong plus.
Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports is a strong plus.
Strong communication skills.
Strong ability to learn.
Scientist 1 Qualifications: Hands-on chemistry, wet lab, or analysis experience is a plus.
Experience in analytical chemistry work with lab instruments is a plus.
