About the Role:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support Transmission and Distribution projects. In this remote role, you will analyze and interpret data to optimize project performance and deliver actionable insights. This position is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of data analysis experience, particularly in the utility or energy sector, looking to grow and contribute to impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data related to Transmission and Distribution projects to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather, process, and report data accurately and promptly.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
- Perform data validation and ensure data integrity across sources.
- Provide process improvement recommendations based on data analysis.
- Assist in preparing project performance reports for stakeholders.
- Use Excel for data manipulation, advanced formulas, and pivot tables to generate detailed reports.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the transmission and distribution or energy/utilities sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas).
- Experience with Power BI for dashboards and reports.
- Ability to work independently remotely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Experience with other visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
- Knowledge of SQL and Python is preferred.
- Understanding of energy systems, transmission, and distribution.
- Willingness to travel up to once a month for remote work.
