The Solutions Architect Platform influences application technologies through build, enhancement, delivery, and system architecture processes. This role involves designing, building, and implementing clinical and business application systems. The architect serves as a mentor and technical guide, promoting the application of technology frameworks, standards, and best practices. They lead by example, contribute hands-on, and align system design with strategic goals. Understanding the enterprise's strategic plan is essential to guide the application team effectively. Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent college credits with 6 years of experience, or 8 years of relevant experience. Effective communication skills in English (Verbal/Written). At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing compute and storage solutions, including configuration and upgrades. Strong understanding of virtual workloads and virtual desktop presentation layers. Experience with at least three workload platforms such as VMware, Citrix, Dell, NetApp, or Pure, for 5 years. Proven ability to manage and optimize compute and storage resources proactively. Responsibilities
The Solutions Architect Platform's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Mentoring and training junior team members. Analyzing data and system requirements using lifecycle tools. Leading the design, development, and implementation of clinical application solutions. Managing upgrades, disaster recovery, and conversion projects. Analyzing problems and business needs to develop solutions. Collaborating with customers on system design and implementation. Participating in testing and quality assurance processes. Conducting root cause analyses for performance or availability issues. Maintaining accurate as-built architecture documentation for supported solutions. The role reports to the department Manager or Director. Physical demands may vary, and standard precautions apply, especially when working in clinical areas.
