is NYC’s longest-running, free performance festival, and a beloved summer tradition featuring approximately 30 varied large-scale performances and attracting upwards of 200,000 people each summer to the Prospect Park Bandshell. About the Role: BRIC seeks a seasonal Sponsorship Associate whose primary responsibilities include managing our sponsor activities and onsite activations for the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival. The Sponsorship Associate will report directly to the Sponsorship Lead and should be a proactive and well organized individual, eager to contribute in all areas of sponsorship, client management, media partnership, marketing, and administration for the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival. What You’ll Do in the Role: The Sponsorship Associate will support the Sponsorship Lead in executing brand sponsorships and media partnerships throughout the summer season. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop a strong understanding of all brand sponsor and media partner objectives to ensure that deliverables are successfully executed across on-site activations, digital platforms (website, social media, email), and sponsor hospitality (VIP tickets, private events). Attend all summer events to assist with activation setup, manage client relationships, and serve as the on-the-ground point of contact for any sponsorship needs. Coordinate with sponsors in advance of each show to plan logistics for onsite activations and brand experiences. Collect, document and archive all sponsorship activities (photographs, video, narrative reports) for final reports. Work cross-functionally with the Marketing, Production, and Development teams to align and coordinate sponsor activities. Prepare and distribute sponsor tickets and manage VIP guest lists for all shows. Ensure all sponsorship spreadsheets and planning documents are consistently updated, accurate, and well-organized. Provide general administrative support for the Sponsorship and Marketing teams as needed. You’ll Bring these Skills and Strengths to the Role: Mission & Values Alignment:

Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in a related field. Some experience in sponsorship, client management, experiential or music marketing execution is preferred. Must be self-directed and proactive, highly organized, computer literate, outgoing, and able to think on your feet. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a professional and outgoing demeanor. Must be proactive about administrative tasks, as well as eager to engage with the public onsite, both with utmost professionalism. Google Docs experience including Google Slides and Google Sheets, as well as knowledge of social media platforms, new technology, and traditional marketing are all a major plus. Knowledge of and a keen interest in music and the performing arts.
Communication & Relationship Building:
A highly skilled communicator who is a team player and can support the achievement of team goals. Ability to champion, encourage, and delegate to all of the production staff. Commitment to Equity & Inclusion:

This is a part-time, non-exempt role based at the Prospect Park Bandshell. Mid May - Mid August. Compensation:
The hourly salary range for this position is $20 / hour. Hours:
Expectations include 2-3 days per week in the pre-season, and 3-4 days per week in-season, including working remotely for pre-show coordination and onsite attendance at most live performances. Mission & Values:
