Job Summary
This position exists to be the first point of contact for students utilizing Student Health Services. The individual must be knowledgeable, professional, and able to work with a medical team, provide basic care, and educate students on managing their own health care.
Minimum Qualifications
Specialized terminology- specialized medical terminology skills, including training or experience with medical claims documentation. Ability to learn, understand, and apply skills as a Patient Care Assistant as part of specialized medical terminology within three months of hire. Word Processing skills sufficient to prepare memos, reports, invoices, financial statements, and other documents. Skills sufficient to modify, develop, and update spreadsheets. Customer Service Skills (phone, in person) sufficient to respond to e-mail, telephone, and in-person questions, inquiries, and requests in a timely, professional manner.
