Company: Rockwoods is seeking a talented Data Analyst – Segmentation for an exciting opportunity with our esteemed client in Tysons Corner, VA. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite weekly, with in-person interviews. Only local candidates or those willing to relocate and work onsite are considered.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Create and enhance data-driven segmentation models based on customer behaviors, demographics, and product usage.
2. Analyze segment-specific trends and deliver actionable insights to improve product offerings and strategies.
3. Data Visualization and Reporting
4. Design and maintain dashboards to monitor key deposit performance metrics such as balances, attrition, and churn by customer segment.
5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
6. Work closely with product and marketing teams to develop targeted, impactful campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 3 to 5 years US experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or equivalent programming languages.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to convey insights to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Team Responsibilities

• Define segmentation logic for marketing campaigns and promotional fulfillment.
• Support BI reporting (e.g., LAM reports, deposit reports, email, and direct mail dashboards).
