Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards. Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.
Direct the sales team to maximize sales and bookings for both social and corporate events. Assist and guide the sales process for weddings, special events, and corporate functions.
Handle contract negotiations, prepare proposals, work with online referral programs, prepare contracts and banquet event orders, and coordinate customized menus with the Chef.
Carry an active sales load.
Increase awareness of East Wind among sales personnel.
Support the sales process of weddings and special events through weekly action plans, live chat, lead methods, networking through chambers, community events, and bridal shows.
Meet overall revenue objectives.
Manage advertising plans in collaboration with Marketing.
Hire and train sales personnel capable of achieving departmental goals.
Provide first-class catering and service at events, working closely with clients to exceed expectations.
Oversee all phases of events from sales to planning, ensuring a first-class experience. Be visible at events to engage with staff, clients, and guests to foster lasting relationships.
Maintain attention to detail, demonstrate professionalism, work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities confidentially.
Attire
Business formal attire: classic, conservative, coordinating, with a name tag.

Pay: From $120,000 per year
Benefits: Health insurance
Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, weekend availability
Supplemental Pay: Bonus and commission
Location: Wading River, NY 11792 (reliable commute or relocation planned)
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Travel: 25% (preferred)
