Hourly Rate: $14.00

Responsibilities

The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off automotive parts, while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, passionate about satisfying customers, and committed to work safety.

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and customer satisfaction.
• Follow directions from dispatcher and adhere to assigned routes.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments and prepare related reports.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery vehicles when applicable.
• Assist with other store/warehouse duties as assigned.
• Promote workplace safety.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Current, valid driver’s license
• Must meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over)
• Current valid automobile insurance
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to manage and account for money transactions.
• Proficient in using a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation and customer interface.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime preferred.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
