Director, Cybersecurity - Payment Card Industry (PCI) Capital One is seeking a Director to be a Payment Card Industry (PCI) subject matter expert and team lead within the PCI team, providing strategic and tactical direction to internal Payment Card Industry assessments across the enterprise regarding the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and other applicable PCI Council standards. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional with excellent cyber best-practices, process management, and communication skills. The candidate will be detail-oriented, results focused with a collaborative approach, and will have a proven record of managing high profile PCI related projects. The candidate will also be an experienced people leader, with the ability to motivate, grow, and effectively leverage a team of PCI assessors. Responsibilities: Lead the Enterprise Payment Card Industry Assessments program, developing strategies and plans for program enhancement. Develop lasting partnerships with various enterprise teams, to include collaborating on developing remediation strategies while balancing risk, business objectives, and business impact. Serve as a PCI DSS expert within the PCI Team, providing specialist knowledge and actionable PCI DSS guidance to the enterprise as it relates to current and future processes, applications, documentation, and products as early as possible into project life-cycles. Promote awareness and training of PCI principles, requirements, and security best practices. Manage a team of PCI assessors to support the PCI Program. Ability to obtain ISA certification. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree At least 7 years of experience in enterprise Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance At least 5 years of experience with technical IT controls At least 5 years in IT security or compliance consulting At least 5 years experience working with regulators or internal auditors At least 5 years of experience with regulatory requirements Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree Professional Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) or Internal Security Assessor (ISA) 2+ years experience working in the financial services industry 3+ years of experience with Governance Risk Management and Compliance solutions 4+ years of experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. McLean, VA: $263,900 - $301,200 for Director, Cyber Technical Plano, TX: $239,900 - $273,800 for Director, Cyber Technical Richmond, VA: $239,900 - $273,800 for Director, Cyber Technical This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
