Job Summary Provides engineering and technical support for new simple and combined cycle power plant projects, from early development through implementation. Supports project feasibility, technology development, and negotiations for power purchase and energy supply agreements. Manages third-party engineering firms and collaborates with internal teams to develop project designs, estimates, and schedules. Ensures technical aspects support commercial approval and project execution within scope, quality, time, and budget. Requires comprehensive knowledge of power plant design, construction, and operation, including systems, equipment, and industry standards. Acts as liaison among project teams, internal resources, and management. May perform high-level engineering tasks to support project development. Job Responsibilities Stay informed on technical trends and emerging technologies. Manage engineering project support activities, including budgeting and cost control. Make decisions impacting department strategy, coordination, and outcomes. Identify opportunities to improve performance across functions and organization-wide. Recommend large-scale projects and initiatives involving multiple functions. Set operational objectives, work plans, and delegate tasks to teams. Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex, long-term problems affecting the department. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably Master's Degree. At least 5 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering, Power Generation, Construction, or Development. Minimum of 15 years' overall related experience. 5+ years' project management experience with technical teams and engineering scopes.
