Job Description Summary The Franchise Director is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the franchising department, driving the expansion and management of the franchise network. This role involves ensuring operational excellence and compliance across the franchise system, and fostering strong relationships with franchisees. The Franchise Sales Director will oversee a team, ensuring the recruitment of qualified franchisees and adherence to franchise agreements and regulations. Key Competencies Understanding Retail and Various Retail Channel environments, Influence and Negotiation, Financial Acumen and Data /Analytics, Consumer/Customer focus, Planning and Priority setting, Innovation, Communication and People Leadership Duties &Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the franchise strategy, focusing on network expansion, franchisee recruitment, and operational excellence Oversee the Franchise Recruiter in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber franchise candidates that align with the brand's values and business goals Lead the negotiation and renewal of franchise agreements, in collaboration with the legal department Stay informed on industry trends and competitor strategies to ensure the franchise network remains competitive and innovative Prepare and present regular reports on franchisee performance, recruitment, and compliance to the COO and other stakeholders Ensure the Franchise Compliance Manager maintains compliance with franchise agreements, the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), and relevant legal and regulatory requirements Develop and maintain operational manuals and training programs to support franchisee success and brand consistency Establish and maintain robust communication channels with franchisees, providing them with the support and resources needed for their success Monitor franchisee performance, implementing strategies for improvement and growth, and maintaining brand consistency across the network Collaborate with marketing to create powerful brand propositions for prospective franchisees and to support the franchise recruitment process

Qualifications A minimum of 8 years of experience in franchise management or business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a plus Ability to create a data driven, execution strategy aligned to the commercial strategy and executing goals to ensure financial and strategic success Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Suite and other business related programs to drive the business Proven track record of successful franchisee recruitment and network growth Comprehensive knowledge of franchise law, regulations, and industry best practices Flexibility to travel up to 40% as required
