Description The
Director of Membership
is responsible for designing and implementing the MOJO membership growth and retention strategy that aligns with MOJO’s strategic objectives. This role involves leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of membership growth strategies, as well as managing day-to-day member engagement. The director works closely with the Senior Director of Business Development and CEO to achieve membership goals while delivering high-quality service to members. This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Development.

Responsibilities
Lead efforts to recruit, retain, and engage members.
Collaborate with senior leadership and staff to create a roadmap for sustainable growth, establish plans and goals, and develop data-driven engagement and retention strategies.
Enhance member benefits and services by identifying opportunities and collaborating across departments.
Develop metrics to measure and improve member engagement.
Oversee membership data management, tracking, and reporting, including trend analysis and member experience metrics.
Manage strategic partnerships with other departments and operations.
Qualifications The following knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are required or preferred:
Minimum of three years in a membership or constituent management role (preferred).
Experience in growing and retaining memberships or customers.
Understanding of the higher education industry (preferred).
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with database management and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service commitment.
