Responsibilities:
Contributes to the development of the financial and technological goals through the Annual Operating Planning and Structured Requirements Analysis Planning processes Identifies and develops process innovations to support the site's vision and long-term direction Designs and executes plans, while leveraging the latest approaches and achieving organizational short, mid, and long term goals; regularly reviewing performance and initiating corrective actions, as needed Applies technical expertise to develop existing and introduce new processes Researches new technologies and technological trends to improve process and commercial performance Ensures manufacturing capabilities, product and material application, and tool design standards are considered with respect to the implementation process Coordinates and monitors the fulfillment of all legal and internal requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment Leads by example and line with the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and the Code of Conduct, while developing employees, driving Talent Acquisition and Management processes, and fostering a proactive work culture Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in engineering roles within the metals manufacturing industry. Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory position Strong understanding of metallurgical processes, materials science, and manufacturing techniques. Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools. Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures. Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
