Office of Equity and Equal Opportunity
(OEEO)supports the role of the Council in its employment practices and business operations to advance a sense of value and respect for equality, equity, inclusion, access, and diversity among its employees, customers, and the citizens of the metro area. This position is eligible for hybrid (remote and onsite) teleworking. The
Senior
Equity Consultant
supports the Enterprise Equity Senior Manager and Director, Office of Equity and Equal Opportunity (OEEO), in implementing the Council's Equity, Diversity, and Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity (AA/EO) objectives and initiatives across all five divisions of the Council. They also support Council-wide planning and policy analysis that form the strategic priorities and goals of the Council regarding equity implementation. In addition, the Senior Equity Consultant assists in the development and implementation of current and emerging Council equity initiatives and special projects. Any of the following combinations in completed education (degree field of study in public administration, public policy, sociology, ethnic and multicultural studies, human resources, or related field) and experience (in strategy development, equity policy creation, diversity and equity change management, or creating alliance in public sector work): Associate degree with six or more years of experience Bachelor's degree with four or more years of experience Master's or higher degree with two or more years of experience Salary Range:
