$22.00/hr - $27.00/hr The Engineer position involves various maintenance duties, including painting, electrical work, machine maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, etc. Guest maintenance calls are a high priority. WAGE RANGE:
$22.00 hourly - $27.00 hourly (Depending on Engineer Level and Skill.) WORK EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 2 years in maintenance or trades; proficiency in English. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Understand hotel operations and guest profiles. Knowledge of local area attractions. Basic computer skills, such as email communication. Knowledge in refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems. Skills in electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields; relevant certifications/licensing may be required. Understanding of basic accounting principles. Ability to interpret safety and operating manuals. Skills
Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Interpersonal skills: listening, teamwork, professionalism. Ability to multitask, focus, and work under pressure. Conflict resolution skills to ensure guest and staff satisfaction. Solid foundation in plumbing, electrical, painting, and appliance maintenance. Abilities
Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in duties. Relationship-building with guests and staff. Self-motivation and positive attitude. Confidentiality regarding guest and hotel information. Adaptability to new systems and situations. Physical Requirements
Standing/walking for 8+ hours, lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling objects, and handling equipment regularly. Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual or multilingual abilities. Experience in maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical. Previous hotel experience. Emotional intelligence training.
