As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Jackson Medical Group, a growing multi-specialty physician network of over 40 physicians practicing throughout Miami-Dade County at over 7 different specialty care centers, seeks to hire an Electrophysiologist to join our highly regarded Cardiac Services Team. As South Florida's most comprehensive cardiology program, we provide care and support to patients and families at every step of the journey, from routine cardiology care to complex cardiac surgeries. We offer cutting-edge care and provide the best environment for our physicians and patients. The Electrophysiologist will diagnose and treat heart's electrical system issues including abnormal heart rhythms, or arrhythmias. The JMG Associate Medical Director is responsible for planning, diagnostic development, management, and evaluation of medical/services at the clinic/center of responsibility. Diagnosing and treating heart blockages, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and related conditions. Provides and maintains JHS standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and healthcare services to JHS inpatients/outpatients. Doctorate degree in Medicine is required. Fellowship trained Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist. Experience
Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience. License/Certification
Valid Florida Medical License. DEA and board certification or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease are required. Other specialty certifications related to the specialty are a plus. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required. Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred. Seniority level
