Reports To: VP of People Operations
FLSA Status: Exempt/Full-time
Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 annually
Location/Travel: Remote options available in a market where we have a clinic
Job Summary:
Empower Behavioral Health (EBH) is a clinic-based organization dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized care to support a range of behavioral health needs for our clients and their families. As a Recruiter, you will play a key role in helping EBH grow by identifying, attracting, and onboarding talented professionals who align with our mission and values. This position is ideal for someone who is early in their recruiting career and eager to develop their skills in talent acquisition. The Junior Recruiter will support the recruiting team with tasks such as sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, scheduling interviews, and maintaining our applicant tracking system.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements for various positions across EBH
- Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews with candidates to assess qualifications and fit for open roles, typically Registered Behavior Technicians.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews or clinic visits between candidates and recruiting staff or hiring manager
- Assist with the preparation and posting of job descriptions on career page, social media, and other relevant platforms
- Maintain and update our applicant tracking system, ensuring accurate candidate records
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to provide updates, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience
- Support recruiting events and initiatives as needed, such as career fairs and virtual hiring events
- Assist with other administrative tasks and projects within the HR department as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
Required:
- Associate's degree in related field required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a growing organization
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Applicant Tracking System, Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and similar computer applications
