The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to pursue a career in IT. Our Help Desk professionals are expected to provide high quality end user support with a strong background in PC support. This individual requires strong troubleshooting skills to ensure timely resolution to issues, technical requests and repairs. They will effectively collaborate with other IT teams as needed. The Help Desk Support Agent must adhere to The Custom Companies processes.
Responsibilities/Duties: Provide ender user support for any technical issues, including but not limited to desktop, laptop, productivity software, printers, scanners, phones, mobile devices, network and applications. Perform onboarding and offboarding for employees. This includes setting up new work stations for our new employees and making sure they have all applications and programs necessary. Resolve technical issues quickly and effectively with little impact, employing proactive measures whenever possible. Coordinate with other IT staff and users to identify the need for new systems and/or recommend enhancements to improve IT operations. Mange online eBay store selling, packing and shipping old equipment. Responsible for ensuring incidents are logged into electronic ticketing system for tracking and reporting to upper management. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
0-1 years of experience of technical expertise Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and offer effective solutions under tight deadlines Experience with utilizing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Ability to work well in a team and stay organized individually Knowledge of common office applications (Email, Office, Web Browsers, etc...) as well as mobile devices. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with great customer service Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical users
