ISO Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Technology or related discipline. Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in states where an EIT is not obtainable (within 18 months of hire or promotion or transfer). 5 years of related experience. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing power systems for water, wastewater, industrial, federal, and transit facilities. Experience designing medium and low-voltage power distribution systems. Familiar with industry and federal codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, NESC, IEEE, UFC, etc.) Experience conducting power system analysis using software such as SKM Power Tools for Windows and ETAP. Responsibilities: Under limited supervision, create basic to highly complex designs of electric master system plans, power systems, protection and generation models, facility power systems, sustainability/renewable energy systems, and other similar electrical systems. Perform studies of power systems and electrical calculations for electrical systems, lighting simulations, lighting layouts, communications, fire alarm, security, and other similar calculations. Develop white papers and technical documentation to support the firm's technical knowledge management (TKM). Perform site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications. Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals in response to current and potential client requests for proposal (RFPs). Attend conferences, symposia, etc. to improve the visibility of the firm's products and services. Provide technical guidance and training to more junior staff and mentor them for future growth. Skills and Abilities: Expert knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices. Expert knowledge of engineering principles of design. Expert knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Pay Range:
$81,765 - $134,909 Work Location Options:
