is currently seeking an
Entry Level System Engineer
who will support a government contract in Elizabeth City, NJ.
Responsibilities for the Entry Level System Engineer: • Performs in all phases of systems development and implementation, with special emphasis on study and analysis, and testing and acceptance phases. • Troubleshoot issues to maintain 24/7 365 availability throughout all enterprise system environment development, Stage, Production, etc..) • Remediate any/all vulnerabilities for Business System applications. • Implement Software Releases. • Performs evaluation of current IT operations to determine multi-year projections for personnel, hardware, and software. Participates in hardware/software evaluations. • Supports systems analysts, as well as Government personnel to ensure that the problem has been properly identified and that the solution shall satisfy the customer's requirements. • Provides technical expertise and guidance in IT specialties not covered by other specialists. Systems analysis in a specialized IT area(s), e.g. telecommunications, operating systems software, software / hardware integration, software validation, and verification preferred. Capable of defining all required database administration policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and SOP.
Qualifications for the Entry Level System Engineer: • 2 years of relative experience • Certification: Security plus • Expirence in software languages • Expirence in Oracle or Apache tools
Compensation for the Entry Level System Engineer: $50,000 - $60,000 *Depending on Experience. Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
