Position: Summer school - Behavior Intervention Specialist (MULTIPLE POSITIONS) Work Schedule:
4 hours a day/4 days a week Start Date: July 7th - July 24th Pay:
$27.48/Hour Benefits:

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or related experience in working with students in a school setting Experience in conflict resolution strategies and a variety of discipline strategies Experience working with parents and children in difficult and sensitive situations Ability to present to small groups and large groups of students, parents, and staff Able to demonstrate outstanding organizational skills Experience working as part of a collaborative team Ability to keep information about students and families confidential Preferred Qualifications:
Responsive Classroom trained Experience in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology Experience working in a diverse community Experience working in a school setting CPI trained Bully Prevention trained Responsibilities:
Check on and encourage positive behavior for students; build relationships with students Attend Problem Solving meetings Mediation with students Conflict Resolution Develop student groups on friendship, anger management, social skills Develop and monitor behavior plans Give consequences for behaviors as described in behavior plan Be available and responsive to staff members requests for interventions Develop/create structured recess games
