About the Team:

The payments domain encompasses systems, technologies, and processes that facilitate money transfer between individuals, businesses, and financial institutions. This team supports the Debit line of business. The Debit Regression & Automation QA team consists of 18 members. Its primary function is to test monthly release changes, sign off before production deployment, and automate regression cases.

What You Will Be Doing

• The role involves testing HP Nonstop systems, specifically FIS Inhouse Connex on HP software for US and international banks, ensuring compliance with Card Network mandates.
• Responsibilities include analyzing requirements and technical designs, preparing test plans, conducting functional testing, reporting and tracking defects, owning delivery responsibilities, attending daily ceremonies, and updating regression beds.
• This multifaceted role offers high responsibility and broad professional development opportunities.
• Develop automation scripts for software applications sold to clients.
• Ensure quality of software deliverables and support clients.
• Develop high-quality software, review and debug code, collaborate internally, and stay updated with latest technologies.
• Work on Connex functional and regression testing, POS and ATM testing, and Finsim automation.
• Identify client requirements and technical specifications through product management or client interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for product improvement.
• Ensure software remains up-to-date with technological advancements.
• Train and communicate with clients regarding system applications.

Educational Qualification

• BE/ BCA/ MCA/ B.Tech (IT background)

Required skill set

• 5 to 12 years of experience as a Software Test Analyst, capable of working on CONNEX, BASE24, or other card transaction switches on HP NonStop/Tandem.
• Experience analyzing business requirements, functional and technical specifications, preparing and executing test cases, and defect tracking.
• Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA, Zephyr.
• Experience with test simulators such as FINSIM, MasterCard, and VISA.
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Banking, finance, and payment domain experience is a plus.

Added Bonus if you have:

• Experience in AGILE/SAFE environments.
• Knowledge of FIS products, financial services, E2E testing, and product support for production and UAT.
