PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Federal Programs Coordinator supports the administration, compliance, and implementation of federal education programs under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and other grant-funded initiatives. This position ensures proper use of federal funds, alignment with district goals, and compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines. The coordinator collaborates with campus and district leaders to support student achievement, equity, and program effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in education, public administration, or related field required Master's degree preferred Texas teaching certification required; mid-management or principal certification preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills: Understanding of Title I, II, III, and other federal programs Strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience: Minimum of three years in education, with experience in federal/state program coordination, curriculum, or campus administration Strong knowledge of ESSA, federal grant requirements, and TEA compliance systems Experience with budget management and compliance monitoring preferred
