The Opportunity Our growing company has recently expanded into the retail channel and is adding a new team member to assist in marketing to prospective consumers, onboarding new retail customers, and support existing customers who are looking to deepen their relationship with recteq.
This is a field role and requires frequent travel to customer and prospect locations.
Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, this individual will: Successfully onboard customers from initial call through training Coordinate and conduct retail training events, including planning, scheduling and project management – for both new and existing customers Maximize merchandising strategy and in-store execution Lead and execute regional sell-through events Provide local and national trade show support, assisting in planning, attending, and post-show account follow up Blitz preparation and execution Co-manage Large Partner Account events Lead certification programs for key partners Represent the brand in a professional manner, in alignment with our strategic objectives, while reinforcing the values that make recteq stand out from the rest
Qualifications 2+ years of field experience in a sales, training or marketing events role Experience building a new brand or start-up a plus; Hardware, Retail, Farm Channel account experience preferred Excellent presentation skills, e.g. public speaking confidence, engaging style, negotiating and influencing, ability to create professional and effective training materials Demonstrated customer relationship skills, i.e., high emotional intelligence, problem resolution, and excellent communication skills (oral and written), attention to detail and strong follow up Strong work ethic, strong self-initiative, and ability to work remotely Demonstrated ability to overcome challenges and objections, sense of urgency and bias for action, and strong ability to collaborate across teams Experience with CPG or barbeque industry a plus Frequent overnight travel will be required, approximately 80% of time will be spent at customer locations Ability to drive company vehicle and maintain clean driving record Ability to lift up to 40lbs and ability to occasionally assemble display grill if needed

The hiring range for this position is $55k-$75k per year, and placement in the range will be based on factors such as skills, background, industry experience, and location.
