Job Profile The bank is hiring a Managing Director (Public Finance) who will be responsible for achieving fee income goals as a relationship manager or as leader of teams working on transactions and advisory roles. Develop relationships with clients/prospects and industry associates. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Work Experience 5 years of experience in public finance banking or related field Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 52, 63, and SIE license (required) Duties / Responsibilities Develop working relationships with key Fifth Third affiliate personnel to achieve mutual goals. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory groups and agencies. Generate fee income by developing and providing investment banking services to key relationships. Work with the Manager to determine individual goals and objectives. Supervisory Role Responsible for providing employees timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; and recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
