Then VFP Fire Systems would love for you to join our team as an Entry Level Inspector. As an Entry Level Inspector, you will be responsible for assisting our Inspectors in completing quarterly and annual inspections on fire life safety systems. In this role, you will learn the standards we follow and how to complete inspections in a timely and efficient manner while protecting life and property.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing annual, semiannual, and quarterly inspections of all fire life safety systems.
- Work in compliance with the Company’s safety manual, always keeping safety of self and others in mind.
- Daily communications with Inspection & Service Manager and/or Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays, requirements, and general status of jobs.
- Complete inspections to NFPA and company standards utilizing inspection best practices.
- Assist in the completion of all necessary inspection paperwork.
- Customer-focused interpersonal skills and proven ability to build long-term customer relationships.
- Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
Requirements:
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to professionally communicate with all levels of leadership, customers, and employees.
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, and ability to be resourceful and proactive when completing duties.
- Willingness to assist with miscellaneous projects as needed.
- Ability and willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius (limited overnight travel).
- Possess a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Regular bending, reaching, climbing, and walking.
Pay Range:
- $18/hr. - $22/hr.
