In this dynamic role, you'll lead fitness center operations, support wellness initiatives, and engage employees and the community in achieving their health goals. What you'll do:
- Oversee daily operations of the Employee Fitness Center, including equipment upkeep and cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate membership records and conduct safety orientations and facility tours.
- Engage members by providing guidance, motivation and support tailored to individual fitness goals.
- Coordinate group fitness classes and wellness programs based on member needs and interests.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase participation and awareness.
- Manage service provider contracts and maintain wellness content on the Intranet and announcement boards.
- Educate employees and community members using evidence-based wellness resources.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic Community Health Improvement goals.
- Develop and deliver wellness programming, support health screenings, and provide subject matter expertise across departments.
- Lead the Salem Health Wellness Champion program, training ambassadors to promote workplace wellness.
- Support outreach and community events and evaluate program outcomes for continuous improvement .

Background/experience:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- At least 5 years of experience with fitness and wellness program facilitation
- Minimum of 2 years of Fitness Training, Health or Lifestyle Coaching experience, including the use of motivational interviewing techniques and behavioral change model
- At least 2 years of experience working with special populations and high-risk individuals
