Overview
Preparation of the forecast including revenue, cost, and cash-flow projections.
Preparation and analysis of the following reports to ensure they accurately reflect the current project status: monthly cost report, weekly reports, LDR, payroll, labor report, summary report, and weekly quantities.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making processes.
Identify and assess potential risks related to project costs, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure financial success.
Preparation of weekly cost trend charts.
Preparation of subcontractor payment requisitions and monthly reporting to project owner.
Preparation of payment report to be submitted to the owner at the end of each month.
Supervision of subcontractors and service agreements, purchase orders and change orders, contract modifications, and estimation of billing-payments and cost impact to the project.
Collaborate with project managers to establish project budgets and track expenditures against approved budgets.
Provide regular cost forecasts based on project progress and potential variations.
Utilize cost data and historical project information to enhance accuracy in future cost estimates.
Qualifications: Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with a financial background or education
2-3 years’ experience in cost control/engineering in construction projects
Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques and principles.
Proficiency in relevant software tools such as cost estimating software, Excel, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications: Proven ability to follow through with completion
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Skills & Competencies: MS Office Suite
