We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with a frontend emphasis to design and deliver interactive web-based tools that support high-impact decision-making in fast-paced, data-intensive trading environments. Technology drives our business, and we rely on insightful, real-time visual interfaces to gain and maintain a competitive advantage in the financial markets. You will be instrumental in building intuitive, scalable user experiences that help internal teams navigate complex data and systems with clarity and precision. In this role, you'll maintain and enhance a React-based interface platform, ensuring it functions as a reliable canvas for backend engineers—many of whom specialize in Java—to quickly deploy, test, and visualize the inner workings of our trading infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Architect and scale out frontend systems using React to support analytics and real-time data interaction tools. Deliver performant and visually rich dashboards that surface critical system and trading information to users at a glance. Build modular, reusable UI components optimized for speed and responsiveness during high-load scenarios. Translate abstract requirements from quantitative and trading teams into clean, intuitive visual interfaces. Guide architectural direction as we evolve away from legacy GUI systems toward modern, component-driven web applications. Provide technical guidance on best practices in frontend engineering, promoting excellence across the development team. Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure high-quality user experience across tools. What You’ll Bring: A minimum of five years of hands-on experience developing production-grade frontend applications. Deep proficiency in React and TypeScript, with examples of projects where you've handled large data sets and complex state. Solid grasp of frontend testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing frameworks. Strong sense for UI/UX design and a passion for simplifying sophisticated workflows. Familiarity with CI/CD ecosystems such as TeamCity, Gitlab-CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins. Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. Clear communicator, capable of working with technical and non-technical audiences to gather requirements and share progress. A keen interest in data visualization and analytical tools; experience in financial markets is helpful but not required. Ability to travel annually to collaborate with global teammates based in our Amsterdam engineering hub. Additional Notes: We are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
