Transaction Network Services (TNS), a Koch Industries company, is seeking a talented and motivated AWS Cloud Architect. This role involves establishing strategy and architecture for cloud services, primarily AWS, as the company adopts cloud technologies at an increasing rate. Responsibilities
Create and execute cloud computing strategies by architecting cloud infrastructure assets to meet TNS’s business goals. Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud infrastructure and cloud-native applications. Serve as a subject matter expert, advising on industry best practices for cloud technologies. Qualifications
7-10 years experience in a Software Development Engineering environment. 5+ years practical experience with AWS architecture, design, and support of cloud infrastructure and applications. Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments. Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible), and scripting (Python, Java, Bash). Excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting global organizations or in the telecom industry. Knowledge of ML, data analysis, Big Data technologies, and familiarity with other cloud platforms like Azure or GCP. Certifications such as AWS Cloud Architect are required; additional cloud certifications are a plus. Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. AWS cloud architecture certification is required. Additional Information
Salary range: $150,000 - $190,000 annually, with variable pay options. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, paid holidays, vacations, and a 401K plan with company match. Employment Details
