Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute, a premier and growing gastroenterology practice, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible gastroenterologist with specialized training in GI motility to join our expanding team. As part of a large, well-established GI group, this role offers a unique opportunity to practice advanced motility care in a highly collaborative and innovative environment.
As one of the nations most highly regarded digestive disease programs, the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute offers comprehensive and coordinated care to evaluate, diagnose and treat a wide range of digestive diseases. Subspecialty services offered include advanced endoscopy, medical pancreatology, hepatology, neuro-gastroenterology/motility and inflammatory bowel diseases. The institutes team of globally respected physicians are leaders in clinical research and postgraduate medical education. The institute boasts a very vibrant clinical research program that conducts cutting-edge trials in endoscopic tumor resection, pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, IBD, and hemostasis. The institute has an ACGME approved gastroenterology fellowship and hosts several international symposiums annually. Position Highlights:
- Dedicated Motility Focus: Opportunity to develop and expand a high-volume motility practice with access to state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge diagnostic tools with a newly opened GI Motility Center in downtown Orlando.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside a team of renowned gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, dietitians and GI psychologists to provide comprehensive care.
- Advanced Diagnostic Capabilities: Utilize high-resolution esophageal manometry, 24-hour pH impedance testing, Bravo pH monitoring, anorectal manometry with manometry based biofeedback program, and EndoFLIP technology.
- Academic & Research Opportunities: Engage in clinical research, medical education, and mentorship through Orlando Healths robust Digestive Health Institute academic programs.
- Leadership & Program Development: Play a key role in shaping the growth of motility services within one of the largest GI groups in Florida.
Candidate Requirements:
- MD/DO and board certification (or eligibility) in gastroenterology
- Advanced fellowship training or significant expertise in GI motility disorders
- Strong interest in managing esophageal, gastric, small bowel, and anorectal motility disorders
- Commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care
- FL Medical License or ability to obtain FL Medical License.
