SPENGA Ballston is looking for an energetic General Manager to lead our team in Arlington! The Ballston studio opened in 2021 and as we continue to grow we are looking to expand our team bringing the Best. WERKOUT. Ever to Ballston through our unique combination of spin, strength, and yoga. Twenty minutes of each = the most effective and efficient 60-minute workout! The General Manager is responsible for the performance and success of the studio. The job encompasses everything involved in running the day-to-day operations of the SPENGA studio, driving membership sales, staff development, member experience, and promoting the SPENGA brand. Qualifications Strong management and leadership abilities Ability to create a successful, positive environment for staff and members Previous sales experience, fitness industry or high-end goods & services preferred Willingness to learn. Candidates must be able to adapt to our exciting new fitness philosophy Contagious upbeat personality Motivation and drive Excellent customer service and sales skills Physical activity including cleaning, carrying weights, moving equipment Responsibilities Manage and exceed sales and retention expectations Manage all operational aspects of the business including but not limited to: staff development and scheduling, driving membership sales, delivering positive member experience, general administrative duties, equipment maintenance Lead, train, motivate, and manage all staff to represent SPENGA Retain and increase member participation Submit accurate and timely reports Plan and promote entertaining and productive events through community outreach and business partnerships As a SPENGA ambassador, managers will promote, sell, and add to the SPENGA culture in and out of the studio We Offer Up to $60k/year through a combination of base compensation + incentive comp/commission Bonus potential based on performance Free employee membership Paid time off Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Opportunity for advancement Training and development SPENGA Crew discounts with various fitness organizations (NASM, Mad Dogg, YogaFit, ISSA) Exciting, social, and positive working environment Like-minded team members Team building activities and social events Community driven focus Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 per year SPENGA is an exciting, rapidly growing company, with the goal of bringing the Best. Workout. Ever. to every neighborhood. SPENGA stands for spin + strength + yoga, and we combine all 3 into one 60-minute workout. With 50+ studios running and 250+ territories sold, we are continuously building our teams of instructors, salespeople, managers, and operators, to prepare for expansion. In-depth training is provided through our LMS, along with live training with the corporate team. At SPENGA, our members come for the workout and stay for the community.
