Company Description

Glenn Flaming Physical Therapy is an outpatient and sport private clinic located in Damariscotta, United States. We service the local YMCA crowd, high school athletes, local running and tennis clubs, hiking, and kayaking groups. Patients range from 15-90 years of age.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role, which could work into a full-time position located in Damariscotta, ME for a Physical Therapy Aide - Strength and Conditioning Coach. The position will be responsible for designing and implementing strength training programs for former patients and local athletes. The position is also responsible for assisting PT staff with the management of current patients, ordering, performing modalities, stocking supplies and equipment, laundry, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Sports Science and Strength & Conditioning skills
• Athletic Performance and Injury Prevention knowledge
• Experience in designing and implementing strength training programs
• Certification in Strength and Conditioning (e.g., CSCS) or similar certification is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with athletes of all levels
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field is preferred but not required.
