JOB SUMMARY
The Glenview Park Golf Club is looking for Camp Counselors for this coming season! Our fun-filled junior camps stretch out over two golf courses, Glenview Park Golf Club (800 Shermer Road) and Glenview Prairie Club (2800 West Lake Ave.) where we're able to offer both on-course and range instruction for junior golfers ages 5-17. This is a great way to spend the summer on the golf course and pass along your knowledge and passion for the game onto youth.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
The best applicants will have extensive golf knowledge and etiquette, including prior experience working with junior golfers or instructing children of similar age range.
PAY & SCHEDULING
This is a part-time, seasonal position. Mandatory hours include Monday through Friday, approximately 8:30am to 4pm, June 9, 2025, through August 15, 2025. Additional hours may be required outside of camp schedule. The pay rate is $16-$17/hour DOQ (dependent upon qualifications) - plus generous golf benefits and complimentary Park Center Health & Fitness membership!

- Meet & greet parents and junior golfers upon arrival and departure
- Engage in regular communication with parents, junior golfers, and other staff
- Must be enthusiastic and provide feedback in a positive and encouraging way
- Loves working with children and able to step out of comfort zone and be a kid yourself
- Lead and supervise junior golfers to ensure rewarding and safe experience
- Instruct junior golfers on game rules, etiquette, grip, stance, and other techniques
- Manage supplies for activities, anticipate needs and replenish as necessary
- Set up and break down site
