Job Description
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and compliance, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Overseeing accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Managing general bookkeeping, financial documentation, and record-keeping with precision.
- Supervising daily treasury and cash management activities, ensuring timely reporting.
- Leading the accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes.
- Delivering accurate and comprehensive financial reports within 10 business days after month-end.
- Implementing and maintaining financial controls to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Preparing and organizing financial documentation
- Playing a key role in the development and implementation procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Establishing and enforcing best practices across your financial team.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting and finance experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing and inventory settings
- Prior accounting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be analytical and detail oriented and possess excellent documentation skills.
- Expected to serve as a resource to others for knowledge transfer, training and checking work. - Lead a project or team.
- Strong business acumen to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to interact effectively with various levels of staff and management across departments.
- Strong attention to detail, as well as demonstrated problem-solving and independent decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional organization, time-management, and prioritization skills, as well as on-the-job flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
