Manufacturing Engineer (Solventum)

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Providing engineering leadership to the assigned areas of the Stafford Springs manufacturing plant – establishing a network of resources and contacts to meet business goals and customer needs.
- Implementing safety, productivity, and yield improvements through project leadership or Kaizen events, with ownership for key manufacturing processes and products.
- Leading local implementation of Management of Change projects in support of global safety, product quality, and service goals.
- Engaging and involving in daily operations, supporting/participating in Lean Management system, and providing direction/support of maintenance and capital improvement projects.
- Monitoring ongoing productivity of assigned areas and initiating continuous improvement projects as well as supporting site resources with technical knowledge and problem-solving skillset.
- Being responsive to a manufacturing environment that operates 24 hours a day.
Your Skills And Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- OR High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) AND four (4) years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Three (3) years working within a manufacturing and/or process engineering environment.
- One (1) year of experience with Continuous Improvement and Business Excellence.
- Three (3) years working with cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter/self-directed that leads with high energy and passion.
- Effective facilitation, communication, and teaching skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads under time constraints.
- Experience with machine PLC logic, Power BI dashboards, and data Historians.

Onsite – Stafford Springs, CT
Travel:
May include up to 10% domestic/international.

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $95,825 – $117,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
