Job Summary:
We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team. You will oversee all warehouse operations and ensure receiving, distribution, and storage run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include ensuring that inventory is organized and orders are processed accurately. The ideal candidate is highly organized and has experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
- Communicate with vendors, employees, and company leadership to ensure all areas of the company are working together cohesively.
- Maintain inventory control so that when stock is low, supply orders can be placed.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Review technician orders with warehouse inventory before ordering.
- Tag and label equipment as it arrives.
- Have next day’s jobs equipment and supplies pulled and staged for crews.
- Prepare truck replenishment as needed.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized; breakdown all equipment for garbage or recycling.
- Place orders for ductwork and pick up when needed.
- Arrive 30 minutes prior to crews’ arrival.
- Ability and willingness to work a non-standard schedule: nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Honest and dependable personality.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs safely.
- Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, and kneel continually.
