NOW HIRING: Backhoe and Mini Excavator Operator – Laurel, MD
Talent Corps is actively seeking a Skilled Equipment Operator for a senior high-rise project.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently on active commercial job sites
- Dig trenches for a 600ft U-shape from transformers
- Read and interpret blueprints and site plans to execute precise trench locations and depths
- Maintain daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols
- Support general labor duties when equipment is not in use
- Ensure work is completed to code, on schedule, and with high attention to detail
Requirements:
- Must pass an on-site driving test
- Experience with trenching for duct banks and digging
- Experience operating Backhoe and Mini Excavator
- Ability to read blueprints
- Own reliable transportation to site
- Physically fit and ready for hands-on work
- Strong safety mindset
- OSHA10 certification
- Proper PPE
