Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our IT team as a Tier 1 Helpdesk/IT Support. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our employees, providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems and working with the Information Systems Administrator to resolve more complex issues.

Job Details:
Position Title: Tier 1 Helpdesk/IT Support
Position Type: Full-time, Nonexempt
Position Location: Burnsville, MN (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $23.08/hour - $26.44/hour. Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand and actively work toward agency goals and strategies. Understand and describe agency services relative to accounts' individual needs. Articulate points of differentiation within a service's given marketplace Tier 1 Helpdesk:
Respond to incoming helpdesk requests via the agency ticketing system, and following up as needed in order to resolve the ticket. Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems. Document and track all support requests and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system. Escalate unresolved issues to Information Systems Administrator as needed. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
IT Support:
Assist with the configuration, implementation, and support of computer endpoints, peripherals, and other hardware. Assist with training agency personnel. Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions. Reference and assist with maintaining IT documentation. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
Operations:
Coordinate computer equipment moves when necessary. Participate in Operations projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in IT or related field preferred. Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support. Prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role is a plus. Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent technical issues. Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed. Why KA?
