Assisting in conducting project and regional level transportation air quality conformity analysis impacted by transportation improvement projects. Assisting in preparing and analyzing air quality emission reduction benefits for regional projects submitted for the transportation improvement program. Supporting processes tied to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), especially concerning travel demand and air quality conformity. Assisting in conducting detailed analysis of air quality emission reductions using the EPA-required MOVES software. Assisting in conducting travel demand modeling support for transportation planning studies. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in (urban) planning, transportation engineering or a related field of study. Knowledge of air pollution analysis. Do you have… Degree with internship in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study. Less than a year of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties. Preferred qualifications Master’s degree in (urban) planning, transportation engineering or a related field of study. Familiarity with MOVES.
