Responsibilities include exploring emerging cloud solutions, guiding engineering teams, and collaborating across departments to align cloud architecture with business goals. The role involves designing scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud systems, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of technical excellence. Responsibilities Lead cloud architecture initiatives utilizing AWS services to meet business and technical requirements. Mentor and support engineering teams, promoting professional growth and innovation. Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies to improve infrastructure and performance. Ensure compliance with AWS best practices, emphasizing security, scalability, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with organizational objectives. Manage cloud governance, including security policies, compliance, and access management. Share architectural insights through internal presentations and strategic discussions. Create technical documentation and training resources to share knowledge and promote best practices. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Deep expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3) and cloud architecture strategy. Hands-on experience with serverless computing, especially AWS Lambda. Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation. Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001). Proven experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, including Kubernetes. Minimum Requirements At least 6 years of IT experience with a focus on cloud technologies. Minimum of 3 years working directly with AWS services and automation tools. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or Solutions Architect – Professional. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS Lambda, Apache Kafka, or edge technologies like Fastly. Background in machine learning, data engineering, or large-scale data infrastructure management. Skills in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning. Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
