Job title: : Front Office IT Business Analyst (Equity Derivatives/Equity Finance/DeltaOne - Support Job location; New York, New York ( Hybrid- 3 days onsite) Job Type: Contract A global bank is seeking a Front Office IT Business Analyst (Equity Derivatives/Equity Finance/DeltaOne - Support to join their NY office The Global Markets Business Support and Monitoring IT team is responsible for providing Level 1 functional and technical Support on applications used by Equity Derivatives, Securities Lending, Global Macro (Rates, FX, Commodities), and Credit Front Office and Support Functions teams. We are seeking a Front Office IT Business Analyst to support various external and internal applications for trade execution (such as Fidessa and Dash), booking, pricing and risk management (such as Sophis and Loanet) for Equity Derivatives and Equity Finance/Delta One activities. The Front Office IT Business Analyst (Equity Derivatives/Equity Finance/DeltaOne - Support will primarily be involved in Level 1 Functional Support and will engage in Business Analysis to help implement new features in the supported applications. He/She/They will work closely with Front Office teams and support functions and will have a good knowledge of Equity Derivatives products, trade workflows, pricing and risk management. The candidate’s responsibilities will include addressing user support requests, managing incidents, gathering business requirements from traders, and testing new features. Additionally, the candidate will assist in coordinating with IT Development teams (both locally and in Head Office) and in status reporting Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Main responsibilities include: Work closely with Trading desks to establish a trust relationship with traders Responding to user inquiries and support requests related to IT applications, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. Logging, tracking, and managing incidents reported by users, ensuring they are resolved or escalated appropriately. Collaborating with traders and other stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for application features and enhancements. Conducting testing of new features, bug fixes, and system updates to ensure they meet business requirements and function correctly. Providing training to users on application functionalities and creating user guides or documentation to assist with application usage. Working closely with IT Development teams to communicate user requirements, prioritize issues, and facilitate the implementation of new features or enhancements. Monitoring the performance of IT applications to identify and address any issues that may affect user experience or operational efficiency. Providing regular updates on the status of incidents, requests, and ongoing projects to stakeholders and management. Engaging with Front Office teams to understand their workflows, gather feedback on application usage, and identify areas for improvement. Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Finance Experience in IT business analysis and/or IT Support Analyst functions for Equity Derivatives Front Office in the Finance industry Knowledge of Equity Derivatives products. Knowledge of Trade Execution Platforms: Fidessa, Dash, EMSX Knowledge of external systems such as Fidessa, Dash, Markitwire, Sophis, Loanet or similar Knowledge of SQL is a plus Strong communication skills.to effectively support the needs of the Front Office teams Ability to quickly prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment on multiple applications Agile practices and methodologies is a plus Seniority level
