Key Responsibilities
Respond to and resolve basic technical issues for users via phone, email, or in person. Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, escalating complex issues to higher-level IT staff as needed. Log and track incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system. Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Perform basic software installations and updates as required. Perform user onboarding, guide users on IT policies, best practices, and the effective use of hardware and software. Document solutions to frequently encountered problems for user reference. Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and software licenses. Support the IT team in managing and deploying new hardware or software solutions. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent certifications are a plus. 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role. Knowledge of operating systems and basic networking concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, email systems, and IT service management tools.
