(HATCI) is currently looking for an
Infotainment & System Manager
at its
Superior Township, MI location
to perform the following duties:
Proven leadership with experience in Infotainment and system-level testing.
Experience in design and development of Infotainment products from an OEM perspective.
Strong background in system architecture and root cause analysis to foster team independence.
Ability to maintain team focus on key deliverables while fostering a positive team environment.
Aligning team efforts with Hyundai HATCI’s vision and strategy, encouraging responsibility and ownership from R&D.
What You Will Do
Develop and support HATCI IDD Team for goals, objectives, and budget.
Oversee vehicle design projects and ensure milestone timing for vehicle development.
Create innovative technologies for research, implementation into Hyundai/Kia platforms, cost savings, and technical road maps to enhance Infotainment solutions.
Manage activities related to Infotainment and system development including Bluetooth, Radio, Reception, Sound, WebOS, etc.
Prepare technical reports for presentation to executive management and regional Hyundai & Kia HQs.
Lead the team in solving complex design issues and root cause analysis.
Utilize automated testing tools for efficient testing of Infotainment features.
Coordinate with departments such as Software, Electrical Design, Product Strategy, and Autonomous.
Manage program execution, identify obstacles, and resolve issues for successful project completion.
What You Will Bring to the Role Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Minimum of 3 years in Engineering Management.
Experience in design and release of electric-related structures and components.
Preferred experience in Software development.
Knowledge of embedded systems validation.
Understanding of server development.
Experience in scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions validation.
Knowledge of in-vehicle communication protocols.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
