Third Line Internal Audit – Data & Reporting Issue Validation
RSM is seeking a skilled
Temporary Audit Manager
to join our
Global Bank Practice , supporting the
third line of defense internal audit function
at a
large global banking client . This role will focus on
leading validation work
tied to regulatory issue remediation efforts, with emphasis on data management systems, analytics platforms, and reporting applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead internal audit validation of data systems, reporting platforms, and analytics tools as part of issue remediation and consent order follow-up Review and assess Python and SQL code used for data processing and reporting Evaluate database management systems (DBMS), data pipelines, and access controls for design and operating effectiveness Audit tools such as Alteryx, focusing on data lineage, reporting logic, and ad hoc analytics Validate technical controls and ensure alignment with regulatory and bank standards Prepare audit documentation and reporting consistent with third third-line internal audit methodology
Qualifications:
7+ years of internal audit experience with a focus on data, reporting, and analytics Proven experience working with or auditing large global banks Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and platforms like Alteryx Familiarity with regulatory remediation and issue validation in complex banking environments Ability to evaluate technical processes and communicate findings clearly and effectively Strong documentation and reporting skills aligned with internal audit and regulatory expectations

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
