Our client is looking to hire a Production Planner to join their growing manufacturing team in Laguna Niguel, California. This role reports directly to the President & CEO and will be a key member of the Operations Leadership Team responsible for on-time delivery, production/order scheduling, material/labor planning, material requirements planning (MRP), ERP system management, real-time picking, cycle counting, inventory management, procurement, and tracking key metrics. This is a standalone position with no direct reports. In this role, you can expect to spend 70% of your time Planning and 30% Buying. The person in this role must have excellent analytical, communication (oral and written), and people skills, be keenly sensitive to the importance of keeping all stakeholders informed of order status/outlook, and have the same values as the company. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an absolute must have, along with being able to complete basic, intermediate, and advanced Microsoft Excel tasks with ease. Seniority level
