Senior Marine Electronics Engineer
with proven experience to design, develop, test, and supervise the implementation of electronic equipment for shipboard use. Conduct analyses on centralized machinery control systems, interior and exterior communications, sensors, alarms, navigation, combat fire control, and other

related systems. Analyze and mitigate cybersecurity risks for installed systems and networks. Knowledge of remote sensing, sensor processing, and information processing for electronics components and systems. Develop system documentation and ship specifications.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years’ documented experience developing and integrating systems involving electromagnetic energy transmission for purposes including sensor processing, remote sensing, communications, guidance and control, information processing, navigation, and defense applications. 1+ year of experience related to federal ship or boat building acquisition programs required.
Experience:
Additional certifications, such as PE License, PMP, DHS Systems Engineering Certification, or DHS Program Management Certifications.
Required Education:
BS or MS in Technical, Engineering, or Marine Degree from an ABET-accredited institution, related to the field of work.
Security Clearance:
Must hold a Secret Clearance or higher.
Must pass a background check.
Place of Performance:
Work onsite 2-3 days per week in Washington, DC, with remaining days remote.
Reliable commute to or relocation plans before starting work in Washington, DC (Required).
Schedule:
8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, onsite 2-3 days per week in Washington, DC, and remaining days remote.
