The renowned Butler Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, is seeking an inpatient Psychiatrist for our intensive and general treatment Unit. The Intensive and General Treatment Unit provides care and support for adults with psychiatric conditions such as major depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Inpatient focused on a 26-bed unit
- Average of 10 patients per day
- Monday through Friday daytime work schedule with rotational weekend and Holiday call
- Teaching/Academic time with Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Psychiatry Residents and Fellows (if desired)
- Work alongside 2 Psychiatrists and support from Registered Nurses, Internal Medicine MDs (if needed) and other great resources on the Butler Hospital Campus
- Support by an Internal Medicine team (if needed)
- Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
- Visa sponsorship available
