Job Summary
Geisinger is seeking a board certified/board eligible family medicine or med/peds trained physician for an outpatient primary care opportunity in beautiful Lewistown, PA.
Job Duties
At work, you will experience:
Outpatient only clinic schedule – variable work week
Physician/APP panel sharing model
Nurse call center to assist with on-call workload
Nurse coordinators support high needs patients
Centralized prescription refill team
Interdisciplinary team and quick access to specialty services
Epic EMR – universal throughout Geisinger
We take pride in the support we provide our physicians:
Compensation – competitive salary ranges from $320k to $375k based on experience
Up to $250k recruitment incentives
Residency/Fellowship stipend – up to 45k; available up to 18 months prior to graduation
Geography Stipend – up to 20k at specific clinics
Continuing medical education – 15 working days and $4,500 CME funds
Fully paid relocation
401k – Geisinger annually contributes over $15k
Academic involvement with medical students and residents

Lewistown, PA: Wide valleys separated by heavily forested ridges define the landscape of the Juniata River Valley.
